We can’t wait for this year’s event!

Lead Editor, D G Herring was on the line-up last year and here’s what he had to say afterwards:

“It’s impossible to describe how exciting it is to perform your poetry with a band behind you improvising to your words. The audience just loved the interaction. My favourite aspect is ‘setting the band’ where you try to set the mood by giving a few pointers for the band. They were amazing!”

Shaun Palmer, MC Gramski and the Bourn Jammy band return for a jaw-dropping evening of readings where the band improvise the music depending on the words being read. Special guests and the winners of the Writing Competition will read their works, plus a chance for you to take one of the Open Mic slots.

MC Gramski will again grace the stage, taking prompts from the audience to craft incredible on-the-spot raps and songs. This evening event is NOT to be missed.
