We at Dithering Chaps are proud to announce the launch of our second chapbook, Gifts of the Dark, by the talented Dorset poet, Simon Bowden. His poetry collection was inspired by his time in hospital, recovering from a major operation. The launch event will be held at Moordown Community Centre, 21 Coronation Avenue, BH9 1TW at 2pm on 1st September. As part of the celebrations, Simon will perform some of his poetry, alongside our own D G Herring, author of The Sheliand. There will also be free refreshments and time for discussion of medical and personal issues raised, as well as an opportunity to buy your own signed copy of Gifts of the Dark.
