Dithering Chaps have been chosen to publish an anthology of winners from the Bournemouth Writing Festival’s Flash Fiction and Poetry Competition 2024. The theme is Lines in the Sand and you can let your imagination run wild with that writing prompt!

The competition launch was held at the Street Goose in Bournemouth on 25th January, where about 70 people mingled and listened to speakers, including Dithering Chaps’ own David and Gena Herring. The competition will close for submissions at midnight on 29th February 2024.

The anthology will be published at the end of the Bournemouth Writing Festival. There will be 40 winners and each one will be given the opportunity to send more of their work to us. From those submissions, we will choose one to publish a dedicated chapbook of their work.

We know these prizes will appeal to anyone who wants to see their words in print and to get their work out to a wider audience.
